As we (rather rapidly) head down the final couple of days before Christmas, I’d like to take the time to wish everyone who stops by the House the best of the season. However you observe the holidays I hope it is filled with love and warmed by the memories of the people you love who can’t be with you. Merry Christmas or the best of whatever holiday you observe.

Oh, and if you are one of the seven people in the world who I didn’t send my Christmas letter to, and are really bummed out by that fact, and just don’t think it is Christmas without it, you can find it here in pdf format.

Thanks for your Christmas letter Clare, best wishes to yourself, Leah, Travis, and Hilary, for Christmas, the New Year, and the future. Thanks for bringing the Arctic scene to us all.
Merry Christmas to you and your little family. I have most enjoyed your articles especially when I was living in Ottawa. You gave a sense of being home and knowing what was happening. It was really hard at times for me to look at June pictures when I was enjoying my Large Double Double Tim Hortons coffee. At times, I did really get homesick but I think I will able to go home for spring hunt. I made a deal with my wife that she and her daughter go to Clyde River for Christmas and that I go to Arctic Bay in June to hunt and not be bothered. I thought it was a good deal so I took it.
Clare, with my new job, I will be certainly “marketting” your B&B to my co-workers and in return I expect that you will at least praise one time, the great Montreal Canadiens.
My wife and I still talk about times we had when my wife and I accepted people in trouble you brought to our house while you were serving. I thought the work of the Caregivers and the experience of my wife at the Women’s Shelter and your great service to the community made some changes while we were in Arctic Bay. I wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Thanks Duncan, hope your Christmas was great.
Thanks Joanasie for your very kind words. I’m looking forward to seeing you again when you visit. And I guess to uphold my end of the bargain… Allez Les Glorieux… Go Habs.
