This is the second house fire that has happened at a house next door to where we are living in the last 3 years. Seriously, if you end up as a neighbour of ours, get more insurance.
The fire dept is still next door, but everything seems to be out, and there appears to be a lot less damage than there could have been. Most importantly no one was hurt.

I remember one horrific fire in Inuvik while I lived there – I was happy to see on Google that those houses are now torn down.
What a relief that this one didn’t claim any victims in any way.
It seems like there are a lot of fires up in the Arctic, but then again, I’m going to assume it’s because of the low population that it seems like there are so many…
I’m glad that no one was hurt. I hope that the repairs aren’t too hard on the family.
I’m glad no one was hurt. Best wishes to the victims.
The fire was put out with minimal damage allmycke, amazingly. It was a good thing that no one was hurt. This is now the second burning building I’ve been in here.
It does seem that way Melodie, although I have no idea whether the statistics bear that out. It does have a huge impact here, as housing is already in short supply.
Thanks Dave.
