I have cilantro in the fridge! And jalapenos, and fresh limes, and avacodos. We brought up a new finish carpenter to help us in the home stretch of construction. Gerard is from Calgary and he arrived on the plane from Ottawa this afternoon.
When he was getting prepared to come up here I gave him the URL for the Weblog in case he was interested in just what he was getting into. This evening, as he arrived for supper, he presented me with a grocery bag full of goodies. All the fixings for Guacamole. He had read the post on not being able to get all the ingredients at the same time and brought them up as a treat for us. I’m ecstatic.
Did I ever mention that we can never get Creme Brulle here? Or fresh morel mushrooms? Or capers? Or…
