I know. I know. Its been a long time between posts. I’ve been trying to get through the latest installment of "The Great Northland’s Fire Extinguisher Incident" and it’s been a struggle. The words just don’t seem to be flowing. I think partly because I think some people may misinterpret the violence on our part. I don’t know it will come.
In the mean time I’ve been busy at the House with clients and with Leah at work now there doesn’t seem to be a lot of down time with the computer. I’ve also been busy trying to organize my travel etc for the Vimy trip and, well, I’ve ignored my paperwork for far too long and its coming home to roost in a big way. Yeah yeah, whine whine whine I know.
So my week is shaping up like this. I’ve got coffee and snacks for thirty people twice a day for the next 7 days. There are four apple pies in the oven right now,
and white chocolate and cranberry scones waiting their turn. That takes care of tomorrow. Sigh, is it Monday yet?

Good looking pies Clare, making my mouth water. Give us that next installment, we can take it!
I’m just happy when I see a new post appear in my feed reader – it doesn’t matter how few and far between, they’re worth the wait.
It seems to me that many bloggers have been quieter this winter, but now that I am using Google Reader, a slower time is fine with me. I read whatever comes.
Those pies look great! As for the story, as Duncan said, don’t worry about us.. we can take it!
Damn! That pie looks great! You’re in Iqaluit? I’ve got to come up for some of that. Mom’s away down here and I haven’t had any baked goods in a long time.
I’ll take one of those pies Clare.
Yummm!
Well, there are 30 lucky people in Arctic Bay this week!
Echoing other commenters–I’ve been expecting a rather violent end to the fire extinguisher story, given the apparent determination of the extinguisher wielder, and I’m ready.
